Our process

From the field to your bed

You spend a third of your life in bed. So we followed our cotton from the field to the folded set, and kept only the steps we would be proud to show you.

  1. 01The fiber

    Every piece starts as premium organic cotton, grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilizers.

  2. 02Spinning and weaving

    The cotton is spun and woven in GOTS certified factories. Sateen for our sheets, deep terry loops for our towels.

  3. 03Finishing

    In Portugal, the fabric is finished to GOTS and OEKO-TEX rules, which limit the chemicals allowed at every stage of processing.

  4. 04Making

    Each piece is cut and sewn in Portugal. Our fitted sheets get 17 inch deep pockets, made for deeper mattresses.

  5. 05The box

    Our boxes are FSC certified cardboard printed with soy-based ink. Every order is tied with a ribbon and a seeded hangtag you can plant.

  6. 06To your bed

    Folded, packed and sent to you, with 60 nights on our sheets to decide whether they belong on your bed.
